Alculator ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website alculator.io and the Alculator beverage pricing calculator (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. You may optionally provide a display name.
Pricing Data. When you use the calculator, we store your brand names, SKU details, pricing figures, and market/location labels in our cloud database so you can access them across devices.
Payment Information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe provides us with a customer ID, subscription status, and the last four digits of your card for display purposes.
Usage Data. We automatically collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics, including pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and referring URL. This data is aggregated and not tied to your pricing data.
Email for Lead Capture. If you opt in to our email list (e.g., to receive the Beverage Pricing Playbook), we collect your email address via Kit (formerly ConvertKit).
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To sync your pricing data across devices
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets)
- To send marketing emails if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)

4. Data Storage & Security
Your account and pricing data are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with Row-Level Security enabled, meaning each user can only access their own data. Data is encrypted in transit via TLS and at rest via AES-256.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may receive some of your data:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Kit (ConvertKit) — Email marketing (only if you opt in)
- Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics
- Netlify — Website hosting and CDN

6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and analytics cookies via Google Analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the Service.

- Access your data — Export your pricing data via the calculator's export feature
- Correct your data — Edit your markets, SKUs, and account information at any time
- Delete your data — Delete individual markets or contact us to delete your entire account
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email
8. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
